My stay at Strawberry Fields wasn't quite what I hoped for. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach, which I loved. However, the noise level at night made it tough to get a good night's sleep. Overall, I found it a clean spot with friendly staff, but some things definitely need improvement.
Rooms

The room was relatively clean but quite small and dated. I had to share a bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient, but it was across the landing. The beds could've been more comfortable for a better rest.
Service

The staff were really nice and accommodating. They let me check in early and were always up for a chat, which made me feel welcomed.

I loved the central location, super close to Brighton Pier and plenty of places to eat. However, it did get a little rowdy at night with people shouting in the streets.
Dining

While they didn't serve breakfast, there were loads of nice cafes just a stone's throw away, so I was never short on options.
Facilities

The place had decent cleaning service, but there were a few issues like frayed carpets and broken shutters that caught my eye.

I recently stayed at Strawberry Fields for a few days and found it to be a mixed experience. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and the main attractions, but the heatwave made my attic room unbearably hot. The staff were helpful and the guesthouse was clean, which I appreciated. However, I did have concerns about the overall value for money given the issues I faced with comfort during my stay.
Rooms

My attic room was clean but boiling during the heatwave, and the beds felt a bit worn. I wasn't very comfortable at night.
Service

The staff were friendly and willing to help, but I did notice that there could be better communication during check-in and check-out.

I loved the central location, as it was close to the beach and many restaurants. It made exploring Brighton so much easier.

Breakfast wasn’t provided on-site, which was misleading. Instead, I had to find nearby cafes, but that was okay with me.

The guesthouse was well-maintained, though I did notice some areas could use updates. The cleanliness was definitely a plus.

My stay at Strawberry Fields was a mixed bag. On one hand, the location was fantastic, with easy access to Brighton Pier and various shops. However, the room was a bit dated and in need of some upkeep. Overall, while there are some drawbacks, the value for money and cleanliness made it a reasonable choice for a budget stay. 🌟👀
Rooms

The room was clean, though a bit tired with some signs of wear. I found the double bed to be two singles pushed together, resulting in an uncomfortable ridge, which didn't help my sleep. I did appreciate the ample tea and coffee-making facilities, but the carpet could use a steam clean. Overall, it met my needs but could be improved.

The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my stay, responding quickly to my requests. When I needed a hairdryer, they provided it promptly, which I appreciated. Communication was clear, especially regarding check-in. 👐

Strawberry Fields is strategically located, just a short walk from the beach and Brighton Pier. Being situated in the vibrant Kemp Town area meant that I had easy access to plenty of cafes, shops, and other attractions, which really enhanced my experience. ⭐
Dining

While there was no dedicated dining area and breakfast was extra, I enjoyed having the convenience of tea and coffee in my room. This offered a pleasant start to my mornings without the need to go out. 🍵
Facilities

The facilities were basic but met my expectations for a budget stay. The shower had good water pressure and was effective, though I found it had a slight issue with blockage. There was also decent Wi-Fi connectivity, which I relied on during my stay.

My stay at Strawberry Fields was a good experience overall. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, and I loved having a room with a sea view. However, the absence of a fridge in my room and the somewhat cramped family room made things a bit challenging. Still, the warm and friendly hosts made my stay enjoyable, and I appreciate the value for money.

The room I had was bright and had a lovely view, though it was a bit cramped and lacked a fridge. The bathroom was small and a tad dark, but still manageable for a short stay.

While there was no breakfast offered at the guesthouse, I found several charming cafes nearby. One Italian restaurant, Bon Appetito, was particularly nice for its delicious food.

The cleaning service was efficient, which I appreciated. However, I felt that a guest lounge area would have added to the overall experience.
